This website
- No cookies, no accounts, no forms. qiffe.com is a set of static pages.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. It does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not track you across sites.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Doff
- Everything happens on your Mac. Doff scans your apps and Library folders locally. File names, paths and sizes never leave your Mac.
- No analytics or telemetry. Doff doesn't track how you use it.
- License. When you activate a license, Doff sends your license key and a device label made of your Mac's model and a random code (never your computer's name) to Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. It checks the license with Lemon Squeezy about once a week. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
- Updates. Doff checks qiffe.com for new versions. That request contains what any web request contains (such as your IP address and the app version) and is handled by Cloudflare.
- History. The list of what Doff moved to the Trash is stored on your Mac only, so you can put things back.
Mulligan
- Everything happens on your Mac. Mulligan saves and compares your folders locally. File names, paths and contents never leave your Mac.
- No analytics or telemetry. Mulligan doesn't track how you use it.

Desktide
- No account, no analytics. Desktide doesn't track how you use it and sends nothing to us.
- Calendar and Reminders. Events and reminders are read and written through macOS, in your own Apple Calendar and Reminders. Desktide asks for access the first time you add one; notes and zones work without it.
- Notes. Notes you write on the desktop are stored on your Mac and, if you use iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud database. We can't read them.
- Desktop files. If you give zones access to your Desktop folder, Desktide moves and shows files there on your Mac only. File names and contents never leave your Mac.
