SweepBar
Your free disk space, always in sight, and a safe way to win it back.

What macOS doesn't do
macOS shows free space only when you go looking, and never tells you which developer caches are safe to delete.
Free space at a glance.
The number sits in your menu bar, for example “52 GB”, so a full disk never takes you by surprise.
A warning in time.
Below a threshold you choose, the icon turns into a warning and SweepBar can notify you. It starts at about a tenth of your disk.
Sweeps only what's safe.
It clears developer caches your tools rebuild on their own, such as Xcode and npm caches, and asks before deleting anything.
Price
Seeing what takes up space costs nothing. Sweeping it needs a one-time $5.99 license, with future updates included.
Questions
Will SweepBar delete my code or documents?
No. It only clears caches and generated folders that the tool which made them rebuilds on its own. It never lists source code, documents or chat histories, asks before deleting, and skips anything an app or tool is using right now.
What is free?
The free-space number in the menu bar and the scan. Sweeping, the actual clearing, needs a one-time $5.99 license that covers every sweep and every future update.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 15 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
What if I clear something I still needed?
Most items come back by themselves the next time you build or install. Items that don't are labeled, and the costly ones, such as simulator data and old project folders, start unticked.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 7 days of purchase. Email the address on sweepbar.com.
